Do You Have Any Bullying?
This depends on how you define bullying. If this means physical stand-over tactics of big children over small children, then the answer is no. There is no tolerance of bullying behaviour at Taradale Primary School. However, like any school, we have the usual episodes of children falling out with each other. To support our school belief in providing a positive, safe and secure environment for all children and staff, a school-wide Behaviour Management Programme is in place with its central theme being: Stop-Think-Do
How Do I Know How My Child is Doing?
We have Meet the Teacher meetings in February and then 15 minute Parent-Teacher Interviews in June. In Terms 2 and 3, the children bring home their Learning Sample Folders, and at the end of the year, they receive an End-of-Year Written Report. Parents and Caregivers are encouraged to keep in close communication with the class teachers at any time. Meetings can be arranged with class teachers, team leaders or the Principal at any time if you have concerns. |
